The Vice-Dean, Education, portfolio was created in 2016 with a mandate to strategically guide the Faculty on all educational matters.
The Vice-Dean implements the overarching vision for teaching and learning and provides oversight to the Faculty’s major teaching programs, undergraduate biomedical science programs and our many graduate programs. This includes medicine, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language pathology, as well as to its services including simulation, faculty development and accreditation, among others.
Guiding this work is the Education Strategic Plan (2017-22, PDF), which is part of the Faculty's overarching strategic planning exercise, Project Renaissance.
