The Calendar of Academic Dates 2014-15 was originally approved by Senate in April 2011. This page contains the dates around which all other academic activities are built; however, the information on this page is not comprehensive.

Fall 2014
- Classes begin Tuesday, September 2 (except for Dentistry and Medicine students – please see faculty schedules)
- Add/Drop deadline Tuesday, September 16
- Course or University Withdrawal with refund deadline Tuesday, September 23
- Course or University Withdrawal with no refund deadline Tuesday, October 14
- Classes end Thursday, December 4*
- Study Day Friday, December 5
- Exams begin Monday, December 8
- Exams end Friday, December 19 (10 days, including evening exams)
* On Thursday, December 4, the normal Thursday schedule of course lectures, labs and conferences activities will be replaced by a Monday schedule to make up for a shortfall of Mondays in the fall term.

- Labour Day: Monday, September 1
- Thanksgiving: Monday, October 13
- Holiday break: Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014 to Friday, January 2, 2015 inclusive

Winter 2015

- Study break from March 2 to 6 (some exceptions apply)
