Aedifica Leadership Award

Established in 2021 by Aedifica Inc. to endorse the need for student learning to go beyond the classroom.

Eligibility Awarded by the Master's Program Office of the Desautels Faculty of Management on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated leadership skills to an outstanding student entering the Masters of Management in Retail (MMR) Program in the Bensadoun School of Retail Management. Preference will be given to a student who has demonstrated an exemplary commitment in the area of environmental sustainability, either through their field of studies or extracurricular activities.
Value $5,000. Non-renewable.

Arthur Dalfen Graduate Fellowship

Established in 2020 by Arthur Dalfen, BCom 1960, to support outstanding graduate students entering or enrolled in the Master of Management in Retailing (MMR) program in the Bensadoun School of Retail Management.

Established in 2021 by Linda Migicovsky, BCom 1977, MBA 1982 and Norman Jaskolka, BCom 1976, DPA 1978, in the spirit of highlighting the importance of experiential learning in the Bensadoun School of Retail Management and to endorse the need for student learning to go beyond the classroom.

Jonathan Plens MMR Leadership Award

Established in 2020 by Jonathan A. Plens, in the spirit of highlighting the importance of experiential learning in the Bensadoun School of Retail Management and to endorse the need for student learning to go beyond the classroom.

Eligibility Awarded by the Master's Program Office of the Desautels Faculty of Management on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated leadership skills to an outstanding student entering the Masters of Management in Retail (MMR) Program. Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates exemplary commitment and leadership within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community, as evidenced through his or her program of studies and/or outreach activities in the greater community.

Kirsten Chapman and Family Leadership Award

Established in 2021 by Kirsten Leigh Chapman, BA 1990, to endorse the need for student learning to go beyond the classroom.

Eligibility Awarded by the Master's Program Office of the Desautels Faculty of Management on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated leadership skills to an outstanding student entering the Masters of Management in Retail (MMR) Program in the Bensadoun School of Retail Management. Preference will be given to a student who has demonstrated an exemplary commitment in the area of environmental sustainability, either through their field of studies or extra-curricular activities.

Moose Knuckles Master’s Leadership Award

Established in 2022 by Moose Knuckles, who was inspired to support students from underrepresented communities, in recognition of the need for student learning to go beyond the classroom.

Eligibility Awarded by the Masters Program Office of the Desautels Faculty of Management on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated leadership skills to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Master of Management in Retailing (MMR) Program in the Bensadoun School of Retail Management. First preference will be given to Indigenous students. Second preference will be given to students facing systemic barriers to education.
Value Varies. Up to two non-renewable awards will be awarded annually. Non-renewable.

SAIL Award

Established in 2021 by Sail Plein Air Inc. to endorse the need for student learning to go beyond the classroom.

Eligibility Awarded by the Master's Program Office of the Desautels Faculty of Management on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated leadership skills to an outstanding student entering the Masters of Management in Retail (MMR) Program in the Bensadoun School of Retail Management. Preference will be given to Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Value $5,000. Non-renewable.
