The 2022 Bernice Grafstein Lecture in Neuroscience had the great fortune of having Dr. Andrew D. Huberman of Stanford Medical School (and the Huberman Podcast) give a talk entitled "Visual and Autonomic Circuits Controlling Stress and Stress Modulation".

Andrew Huberman is a visual neuroscientist who has done important work identifying the diversity of retinal ganglion cell types in the eye.  In particular his work has provided an understanding of the roles of ganglion cells in setting circadian rhythm. Dr. Huberman is also a prolific science communicator and his Hubermanlab channel on Youtube has over 1.5 million subscribers, making him one of the most influential science bloggers in the world.
