Convocation Awards

The Faculty of Education has a number of scholarships and awards available for graduating students.

  • Convocation scholarships and awards are granted on the basis of a student’s entire academic history while at McGill (i.e. cumulative GPA or CGPA)
  • Applications are not required, unless specified (see menu at left)
  • All awards are paid in full at the time of graduation to students’ bank accounts (if you are applying for an award, please ensure that your direct deposit information is entered into Minerva and kept current; otherwise, if you are selected, we will not be able to process the payment)
  • All scholarship decisions are made by the Faculty of Education Undergraduate Scholarships Committee. For a full list of the Faculty’s scholarship and award opportunities, please consult the most recent version of the Undergraduate Scholarships and Awards University Calendar.

McGill University is on land which long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous people whose footsteps have marked this territory on which peoples of the world now gather. Learn more.
