From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

3-year strategic direction 2017 priorities

Effectively prioritize initiatives for faculties, students, research and administrative units with demand and capacity management.

Review the current capacity management process, recommend improvements and implement quick-wins.

Design a consistent risk management approach aligned with the McGill Enterprise Risk Management Process.

Revise and communicate IT risk assessment and treatment processes.

Develop a Business Relationship Management (BRM) capability to build strong partnerships with faculties and administrative units.

Assess various BRM models, propose recommendations for roles, responsibilities, and rollout strategy.

Develop the capability to better capture and incorporate the technology needs of students and researchers into our service offerings.

Create a portfolio team dedicated to Teaching, Research and Student Life. Partner with the McGill community, leverage subcommittees, etc. to gather needs and validate concerns.

 

Implement a cyclical strategic planning model linked to continuous service improvement, ever-greening of IT assets, improved communication with users, and compliance with Bill 133.
