Friends of the Library 2019 Annual General Meeting & Celebration of the Friend of the Year
Each fall the Friends of the Library holds its Annual General Meeting. The gathering allows the Friends to recap the year’s activities, highlight future initiatives and connect with one another.
The Friends also take this opportunity to celebrate and honour a Friend of the Year. This special Award is bestowed upon individuals or groups who have showed an unwavering commitment to the vision, mission and goals of the Friends of the Library and McGill Library as a whole. We are pleased to announce that the 2019 Friend of the Year will be awarded to the Crabtree Foundation for their long-standing support of McGill’s Library. Sandra Crabtree and her husband Gerald MacGarvie will be present to accept the award. Please join us as we honour these outstanding champions of the McGill Library.
