From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Every Fall, the Friends of the Library holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM). The gathering is a way for Friends to inform members of previous and future activities and connect with each other. The Friends also take this opportunity to celebrate and honour a Friend of the Year. The Friend of the Year Award is bestowed upon individuals or groups of individuals who show a generous contribution to the vision, mission and goals of the Friends of the Library and McGill University Library & Archives.
