Regular cannabis use among a vulnerable group of youths, ages 14-17 years, is a well established risk factor for psychosis. However, youth are unaware of this research. The Back to Reality Series is a set of video games designed to increase knowledge of this risk. Using empirical research and clinical data gathered over the years, the Back to Reality games deliver experiential knowledge about psychosis and its treatment through interactive gaming technology and multimedia experiences. This project aims to increase mental health literacy on psychosis, substance abuse, and pathways to care, while increasing help-seeking behaviours in at risk youth.
