Logo for the Gaming Against Stigma Group.
The portrayal of mental health in video games and other mainstream media is often negative and fails to express the complex relationship people have with their mental health. The Gaming Against Stigma initiative is a collection of video game loving youth who meet once a week with the goal of creating a positive mental health oriented video game. The group also reviews commercially released video games, exploring and analyzing the portrayal of mental health in the game.
