NeuroHub is one of Healthy Brains Healthy Lives's core facilities, serving as a platform that solves researchers' data management and big data analysis needs. It allows users to collect, store and share data with colleagues or the broader research community, and provides turn-key solutions to address data management requirements from funders and high impact journals. It also makes data analysis easier, faster and reproducible. The platform's suite of tools supports research in neuroinformatics, genomics, social sciences, biology and more, and can be used by any researcher with an internet connection through their web browser.

With NeuroHub's data sharing systems, users can collaborate easily with partners around the world using a single platform that supports data collection, analysis and dissemination. The platform works as a centralized toolbox integrating an ecosystem of software services and tools for seamless neuroscience research and collaboration. It includes both externally and internally developed software services that are interoperable within the NeuroHub platform to augment and support researcher activities. Whether it be multi-modal data collection and management in LORIS, computational pipelines on high performance and cloud computing through CBRAIN, interactive computing through Jupyter Notebooks or statistical analysis using R, NeuroHub offers a connected platform that allows users to conduct research at any scale.

NeuroHub is among the few platforms that includes traditional datasets from neuroimaging and genomics, as well as cohort and longitudinal data from behavioural, population and social science studies.  By linking such diverse datasets together with metadata, the platform is able to bring together existing and newly collected and curated data sources to create one of the richest, searchable data repositories in the world.
