The Canadian Lymphedema Framework (CLF) is an academic and patient stakeholder collaboration promoting lymphedema research, best practices and clinical development. Members of the McGill Lymphedema Research Program serve on the board and various working groups of the CLF.
Launched in 2009, this initiative is based on the UK’s International Lymphoedema Framework (ILF) that, since its formation in 2002, has been very successful in raising awareness of lymphedema in the United Kingdom.
The CLF publishes a quarterly periodical, Pathways, the first magazine devoted solely to educating health professionals and patients about lymphedema and related disorders.
