Try to connect with doctors who have careers you admire. Simply ask for a brief 15-minute conversation while asking a few questions about their career. Here are some sample questions you might find helpful:

- What do you like about it?
- What’s challenging on a day-to-day basis?
- What do you plan to do next in your career?
- What advice do you have for a student considering your specialty?
