On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, a crowd gathered in the ballroom of the McGill Faculty Club for A Celebration in Honour of Dr. Alice Benjamin. They were there to salute the maternal-fetal medicine specialist who has devoted her career to caring for expectant mothers undergoing high-risk pregnancies.
What was Dr. Benjamin’s reaction? “I feel blessed and deeply humbled,” she said.
Judging by the crowd, it seemed as though Dr. Benjamin had delivered every woman in Montreal, said Dr. Togas Tulandi, Professor and Chair, Obstetrics and Gynecology.
THANK YOU to all who came to this celebration. Please know that it meant a lot to Dr. Benjamin.
It also contributed to raising more than $300,000 for the Dr. Alice Benjamin Fund, which will carry some of that special Dr. Benjamin touch into the future for the benefit of women, mothers and babies at home and around the world.
