Award granted to an individual for extraordinary contributions to medical education community.

Award recognizes significant contributions to medical education made by gifted teachers.

Award recognizes an individual or an organization for contribution to develop women leaders in academic medicine, including improvement of educationl and professional environment and nurturing students.

To promote excellence in the education of medical students, residents, and physicians through the professional development of medical educators.

To emphasize the importance of faculty development and to recognize an individual or a group in Canada who has made an exceptional contribution in the area of Faculty Development.

Aims to celebrate people or organizations whose professional accomplishments are an example of the principles of social accountability implemented as defined in the Global Consensus for Social Accountability of Medical Schools

Aims to emphasize the importance of excellence in clinical teaching and to recognize an individual in Canada who has provided exceptional clinical teaching contribution.

Awarded to an individual or group who has developed innovative print materials, e-learning or other teaching aids that have aided medical education initiatives in under/ postgraduate or continuing medical education in Canada.

Recognizes outstanding effort or achievement of an individual(s), program(s), department(s) or faculty in improving the gender equity environment in academic medicine in Canada.

To recognize excellence for national leadership in academic medicine - providing leadership on national collaborative activities that provide frameworks for curriculum in health education; guidelines for faculty on teaching approaches or recruitment and student support, faculty affairs; advocacy for excellence in medical education or research in medical education; bio-medical or health services research.

Recognizes individuals within their first 7 years as faculty who have produced change within their university or the medical community as a whole through their vision, work, and interaction with colleagues. The award is open only to candidates with MD or graduate degrees.

Three spheres have been selected for assessment: Assessment of students, Student engagement in the curriculum and in the medical school, and Social responsibility and accountability as a mission.

Awarded to someone who AMEE feels has made a considerable contribution to Medical and Healthcare Professions Education.

Will go to a person who has made an extraordinary effort and contribution within the field of medical education.

To promote the importance of humanistic medicine and professionalism in medical education.

Promotes, recognizes, rewards faculty committed to medical education in Canadian medical schools. Promotes CAME at Canadian medical schools.

The award is designed to stimulate and reward collaboration in teaching by recognizing teaching development work by a group on a common project. Two or more individuals, one of whom must be teaching at a Canadian University, are eligible to apply.

This program recognizes outstanding contributions to education in the health professions in the areas of: teaching; educational leadership and innovation; faculty development; and research and scholarly activity in medical education.
