Together for Better Health

In 2023, McGill’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences launched the strategic planning exercise Together for Better Health to continue the work undertaken under the preceding plan, Project Renaissance. The new plan will build on current strengths and advance the Faculty mission, considering the current context and with an eye to the future, to lead the discovery, innovation and care needed to improve the health of Quebecers and communities around the world.

Preliminary consultations with Faculty leadership and members were held during meetings of the Dean’s Executive Committee, the Faculty Leadership Commons, the Faculty Council and other stakeholder groups. The discussions confirmed four mission-based priorities for the coming five to seven years. A revised mission statement and renewed values have also taken shape.

More conversations will continue throughout fall 2024 to gather input that will inform the plan details, as well as the required supports. We invite you to consult the opportunities and considerations and the timeline for consultation, and to share your reflections via this online form at any point during this second phase in the planning process.

Thank you, in advance, for your engagement!
