Today's lunch-hour Comedy Show featuring Joey Elias brought smiles to 230 happy faces in Moyse Hall. A vibrant opening act, Ali Hassan, warmed up the crowd with his anecdotes about cooking and comedy and made most people in the room feel hungry by the end when Joey came on stage.

Elias' charismatic flair entertained McGill managers as he nudged and taunted a few wary audience members that sat too close or came in late to the show. He hounded the steering committee about the MForum sign and the fact that all that was served for snacks were muffin bottoms. People roared with laughter as the story teller spun tales about a recent hospital visit, travelling to Saskatchewan, and a lawsuit from a local coffee vendor. The lunch hour session went by very quickly and it felt as though the show had barely begun when it was time to get back to work.
