McGill Management Forum
cordially invites you to our annual conference,
Managing Our Neighbourhood
February 21st, 2013, Holiday Inn Midtown (420 Sherbrooke Street West)
Time: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Our community has undoubtedly faced some significant challenges over past years. With that in mind we would like to use this year’s annual conference to take an introspective - yet provocative - look at how we, as managers, have risen to these challenges and learned strategies to move our community forward.
What distinguishes us here at McGill is the tenacity with which we handle the great diversity of challenges and tasks we face daily, and the tremendous initiative we bring forth. At this year’s conference, we’ll take a look at ways we can remind ourselves of how much we have achieved, and the many ways we can recognize and acknowledge this.
Michael Di Grappa, our sponsor and staunch supporter, will provide context for the day’s discussion, speak to the current landscape, and provide insight on where we are headed.
Our dynamic keynote speaker, Steve Maguire, Director of the newly-created Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management (MDIIM), will introduce the latest in Integrated Management and lead us in exercises on appreciating and reconciling different perspectives on value.
The afternoon will offer a series of interactive workshops for all conference participants, and the day will conclude with an energizing talk by renowned motivational speaker Rock Thomas.
We, your steering committee, are already excited by the promise of the day’s discoveries, and we hope you’ll be there with the same level of enthusiasm; prepared to be challenged and ensured of a value-filled professional development experience!
We look forward to seeing you there!
