Contact Us

Information about the McGill Counselling Psychology program can be found on the Program website. Please do not contact the professors in the MPPRG for general information about the program.

Please note that candidates applying to work with Professor Drapeau may contact him before submitting their application. However, due to the large number of applications received each year, he will not be reviewing any application before it is formally submitted to the program. As such, it is unnecessary to send him your resume or application statement. Individual meetings are also not possible before applying to the program.

Postdoctoral Fellowships

Students intending to work with Prof. Drapeau for a postdoctoral fellowship need to plan ahead of time. Canadian and Quebec applicants are expected to obtain funding for the fellowship through CIHR, FRSQ, SSHRC, or the FQRSC, for example. International students may obtain funding from an agency in their home country. McGill University also offers funding for postdoctoral fellowships. For information about this, please contact McGill’s Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Office. Applications for fellowships are typically submitted one year before the planned start date of the fellowship.

Volunteers

The MPPRG occasionally accepts volunteers. Volunteering for the research group can be an excellent way to build your resume and gain the research experience needed to apply for funding and to graduate programs. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please email Professor Drapeau at martin.drapeau [at] mcgill.ca.
