Extended Abstract Submission Guidelines for INFORMS MSOM Conference
Abstract Format
-
Each abstract should be no more than three pages with 1-inch margins, 11-point font, and at most 33 lines per page. The abstract should include the title, a description of the research problem, the assumptions used, the key methodology, and a summary of major results and their significance. References, if any, should be included within the three pages.
-
To facilitate double-blind review, the abstract should not contain author names.
-
The abstract should be submitted as a PDF file.
Guidelines
-
The same work can be presented only once during the entire conference period. Therefore, please do not submit the same work to both SIG andĀ INFORMS MSOM or to multiple SIGs.
-
If your paper is not accepted for presentation at the SIG Meeting, unless desk-rejected, it will be automatically sent (along with SIG feedback) to the INFORMS MSOM organizing committee to be considered for the general conference. At that point, you will be notified and asked to submit a 3-page extended abstract conforming to the guidelines for abstract submission for MSOM Conference. If accepted, your abstract instead of the full paper will be posted on the conference website. (This avoids your work being identified as not accepted by SIGs.)
-
The submitting author should be the presenter and will be considered "primary author" in the system. Once your abstract is accepted, you will upload an abstract with author names in the order they should appear.
-
Abstracts will be selected for oral presentation by double-blinded reviews.
