Since 2015, she has been responsible for developing and coordinating credit courses on written and oral communication and designing or delivering workshops, writing retreats, peer writing groups, and other writing support. Her work is informed by her training in writing pedagogy, including WAC/WID, during her doctoral studies in Environmental Psychology and her previous experience in research, evaluation, training and development in New York City, Berlin, and Los Angeles.

Since joining the Writing Centre, Dr. Hung has been an invited speaker on the topic of “Engaged Science” at the 2016 Canadian Association for Neuroscience, a co-organizer of a panel for ACFAS in 2017 called “Produire et partager le savoir en français : situation actuelle, enjeux et défis” and a speaker at a 2020 “Careers in Higher Education” panel organized by McGill’s Career Planning Service. In addition to developing disciplinary-focused graduate courses for the Faculty of Law, the Food Science department, and the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Science, she also regularly teaches writing workshops on thesis writing, preparing a literature review, titles and abstracts, and fellowship writing.
