From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Want to participate in one of our experiments?

English/French bilinguals are needed to take part in an Event Related brain Potentials (ERP) study investigating language processing.

ERP is a technique used to record your brain activity. We will ask you to take part in one testing session (3 hours) at the Centre for Research on Brain, Language and Music (3640, de la Montagne).

Main selection criteria for the study include:

  • Age between 18 and 35;
  • Being right-handed;
  • Not being fluent in a third language;
  • No diagnosis of language or learning disability, and no neuropsychological disorders;
  • Normal hearing.
