The Nursing Professionalism Ceremony is an important event marking our students' entry into the Ingram School of Nursing as we welcome new students into the nursing profession for the first time. This year, for our special 10th Anniversary Celebration, first year students will be joined by their more experienced peers in the MSc(A)-N and Nurse Practitioner program. Together, all students and faculty will reaffirm our collective commitment to the Nursing profession. Highlights of the ceremony include inspiring guest speakers, the recitation of an oath to the profession written by and for McGill nursing students, and the symbolic pinning of nametags which must be worn during clinical rotations.

The 10th Anniversary Nursing Professionalism Ceremony will take place in person on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
Location: New Residence Hall, 3625 avenue du Parc, H2X 3P8
Arrival: 1:30 p.m.
Ceremony: 2-4 p.m.
Reception: 4-5 p.m.
