Support Canada’s first academic Department of Oncology

Donate to the Department

The Gerald Bronfman Department of Oncology excels in four key areas: education and training, cutting-edge research, community engagement, and advancing cancer care. We offer medical students exposure to oncology and provide residency programs in medical, radiation, and surgical oncology, alongside a Graduate Diploma in Oncology and eight new graduate courses.

Our research spans eight domains, from basic molecular understanding to clinical trials testing new therapies, radiation physics, genetic susceptibility, epidemiology, and improving patient well-being and care quality. We disseminate findings through publications and conferences and influence cancer policies at provincial, national, and international levels.

While progress has been made, cancer remains a significant challenge, impacting half of all Canadians and Quebecers. We aim to train future specialists, deepen our understanding, and improve outcomes. However, these endeavors require substantial resources. Your support is crucial in advancing our mission of cancer education and research. Please consider donating to our cause.
