From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Hilary SweatmanHilary Sweatman (she/her)

Biography: Hilary is a small-town Ontarian turned big-city scientist. Growing up on a recreational farm, daily interactions with plants and animals inspired her love of science. This love persisted throughout her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and into her current PhD studies in neuroscience at McGill University. In the lab, Hilary studies memory development in children with and without autism spectrum disorder.  

At OSE, Hilary engages with graduate students and faculty with the aim of raising the standards in undergraduate science education. In her spare time, Hilary can be found working on one of her various neuroscience outreach initiatives or wandering around Montreal sampling lattes and croissants.
