Ezrah Isaac Roy (he/him)

Biography: Ezrah Isaac Roy was a bookish kid. Accordingly, he spent most of his childhood reading books on a variety of subjects ranging from astrophysics to fantasy. In high school, he was in the International Baccalaureate program and was an active member of the school’s LGBTQ+ committee where he organized events including an art exposition held for the fifth anniversary of the committee. During his final year of high school, he made a short documentary on transgender mental health.

In 2019, Ezrah started at cégep in Sciences, Letters and Arts. During that year, he chose to study microbiology and immunology after a project on COVID-19 and its predecessors. In 2021 he enrolled at McGill, majoring in Microbiology & Immunology and minoring in Neuroscience. Ezrah plans to pursue graduate studies to focus on polar microbiology. And when he is not studying, Ezrah spends his free time drinking tea and reading books, just like he did as a kid.
