From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Janette BarringtonDr. Janette Barrington (she/her)

Biography: Janette Barrington was born in the UK and emigrated to Canada in 1983. As a first-generation university student, she worked long and hard to earn a PhD in Educational Technology.  

A highlight of Janette’s career is holding leadership positions in educational development at Concordia and McMaster Universities. She is an active member of a community of scholars searching for the holy grail of quality learning and teaching in higher education. Now semi-retired, she is delighted to be contributing to the emerging research agenda of OSE.
