Training opportunities for McGill and Oxford PhD students and postdoctoral fellows at ZNZ

Within the framework of the partnership between the Brain @McGill, Oxford Neuroscience, and the Neuroscience Center Zurich, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows affiliated to the McGill Neuroscience community are cordially invited to consider spending research time in the laboratory of ZNZ members in Zurich, if such a stay contributes to the advancement of their research project and to their training port-folio.

Interested candidates should contact directly the ZNZ member (see www.neuroscience.uzh.ch) with whom they would like to collaborate, providing a short outline of the purpose of their visit and the goals of the research they intend to conduct or to learn in Zurich. A copy of the mail should be sent at the same time to the ZNZ coordination office (info [at] neuroscience.uzh.ch)

Upon reciprocal agreement of all parties involved, and with the written consent of the applicant’s supervisor, the host team at ZNZ will contribute to travel and accommodation expenses for a duration of maximally 4 months.

Upon completion of the visit, the beneficiary has to submit a short report (max. 3 pages) summarizing the research performed and the outcome of this training opportunity to the coordination offices of the Neuroscience programs involved.
