Anushree Joshi

ANUSHREE JOSHI (she/her), a Research Assistant with Poetry Matters, is an MA student in the Department of English at McGill University. Her research currently focuses on the intersections of resistance poetry, digital culture, digital humanities, and activism on the Internet. She has worked as the Editor-in-Chief for Jabberwock, the English Department Journal for Lady Shri Ram College at the University of Delhi. Anushree is keenly interested in tracing the relationship between politics, practical activism, and contemporary literature, and to that end has served as a member of the Editorial Board for the LSR College's Women's Development Cell. She is currently an Editorial Board member at Caret, the English Department's Graduate Journal at McGill, and a freelance scriptwriter for Terribly Tiny Tales in India. Her work has appeared in The Wire, Film Studies, Women's Studies, South Asian Film and Media, Muse India, Aleph, and Kitaab, among others.
