I am currently studying for a bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Montreal. My main interests in the field are development of psychopathologies, especially anxiety disorders and eating disorders. However, I am interested in several psychosocial variables, particularly the locus of control. My work in the King lab is to look at the relationship between objective hardship and subjective distress in the Project Ice Storm cohort mothers might be moderated by their locus of control and cognitive appraisal (positive or negative) of the 1998 crisis. I am extremely happy to be able to develop my scientific knowledge within the King Lab team.
