Subject recruitment

 

The Rare Neurodevelopmental Disorders Laboratory has ongoing recruitment of individuals with neurological disorders, under approval of the Research Ethics Board of the Douglas Hospital. 

INVESTICATE study: We recruit patients and their families, where one or more individuals has a neurodevelopmental disorder, such as autism or intellectual disability.  We request DNA samples, urine samples, or skin samples for this project, where the aim is to map genetic mutations and understand what these mutations do by turning cells in urine or skin into brain cells.  If you are interested in participating in the INVESTICATE study, please contact Dr Ernst and look through the consent form below.
