My research focuses on statistical computing and statistical machine learning. I am particularly interested in the development of high-dimensional data analysis methods and computationally efficient machine learning algorithms, and their applications on the fields of genetics and genomics. I am also interested in the development and applications of statistical methods in computational medicine, such as the disease trajectory models, which integrate genetic, epigenetic and electronic health record data for patient health prediction. I have extensive collaboration with researchers at the McGill University Health Centre and the Jewish General Hospital.
