Research Administration Network (RAN) Session
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve research administration within the McGill community, the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) and Research Financial Management Services (RFMS) are very pleased to announce the launch of the Research Administration Network (RAN) – a new training initiative that will provide opportunities to exchange information and tools required to facilitate research administration at McGill University while also increasing our adaptability to the requirements of our sponsors.
On February 15, speakers from OSR and RFMS will present on the life cycle of grants. They will walk the audience through the different stages of a funded project, from pre-award to project completion. Along the way, they will touch on the various units that are involved during the management and administration of a grant.
RAN sessions are held on a monthly basis. A variety of “cradle to grave” research administration topics will be offered, encompassing proposal development, award management and financial administration. Please visit www.mcgill.ca/research/ran for all the latest information.
