R+I Services during McGill COVID-19 Closure

Published: 17 March 2020

Sent on behalf of Martha Crago, Vice-Principal (Research and Innovation)

McGill University’s campuses have effectively closed because of COVID-19, including the offices of Research and Innovation (R+I). However, R+I has moved its functions to online and phone-based formats. All R+I units therefore will continue to provide regular services remotely in support of the University research community.

Please note, as we transition to working off site, you may experience some delays in response times. However, these should be minimal, and we thank you in advance for your patience.

We ask that you continue to work directly with your normal R+I contact. General questions related to pre-award or post-award management of grants as well as prizes and awards nominations should be sent to info.osr [at] mcgill.ca. Send all other inquiries to research [at] mcgill.ca.

For information about individual funding programs and competitions, we ask that you consult the website of the relevant agency. It will have the most up-to-date information.

As the situation related to COVID-19 evolves frequently, R+I has created an FAQ webpage, which we will update on a regular basis, with detailed information about our services.

We will convey any urgent information via your Dean and Associate Dean of Research and, when appropriate, via the OSR Funding Alerts Listservs.

If we can help support your research in any way during these unprecedented circumstances, please do not hesitate to contact our office or a member of our staff.
