Research Projects

Our lab is poised to identify brain molecular biomarkers in youth, with the aim of identifying and preventing major mental illnesses. Our goal is to understand the brain molecular underpinning of youth at risk for major mental illnesses, including schizophrenia focusing on major triggers such as environmental stress, cannabis use. This is particularly important given Canada’s cannabis legalization efforts and its effects on the developing brain.
