THRIVE is an e-communication on wellness topics during residency or in medicine at large and is sent 3 times/year to both residents and faculty.
Each issue of THRIVE has a dedicated theme and includes scholarly articles, a self-assessment tool, and personal stories written by McGill residents (anonymity is optional). Readers are also invited to access the Resources section of our website for a growing depository of wellness tools and strategies relevant to the issue at hand.
We also use this publication to highlight Office of Medical Learner Affairs initiatives and events, remind learners of our resources, and promote occasional surveys aiming at assessing the experiences and/or needs of our postgraduate learners for the purpose of designing effective interventions on an individual, group, and systemic level.
