For McGill students

Looking for ways to do meaningful work and develop skills?

Participating in science outreach is a great way to connect with other students and the Montreal community while building skills in public speaking, translating knowledge, leadership and more. The Faculty of Science values and supports all of these groups and the fantastic work they do. Click on the links below to learn about each one and how you can get involved with science outreach.

There are lots of other opportunities out there, and scientists are needed to help citizens navigate many important issues. For example, check out platforms like Skype a Scientist and Letters to a Pre-Scientist that match scientists with schools, describe your research in Ten Hundred Words of Science, learn science storytelling techniques with Confabulation or Massive Science, start a blog, or explore others ways to share your science with others.
