Optional Statements
You are encouraged to include any of the grading tables or optional relevant policy statements contained in this document in your course outline (you may adapt the phrasing):
-
Submit the course outline two (2) weeks prior to the start of the course
A copy must be sent to your Academic Program Coordinator (APC) for review and approval.
-
Once approved, post the outline on myCourses
We recommend that you save the approved course outline as a PDF document before posting it on myCourses. Keeping the most recent Word version will be helpful in case your outline needs further editing.
-
Fill out the Exam/Assessment Form
Whether or not your course includes a final exam, you must fill out this form as soon as your course outline has been approved by the APC. This DOES NOT apply to instructors teaching language courses.
-
Changes/updates to course outlines
If any changes/updates are made to the course outline, it must be resubmitted to the APC.
