Student Grievances, Appeals, and Disciplinary Appeals

Student Grievance

Prior to filing a grievance, students are encouraged to resolve the dispute through the Ombudsperson, the Dean of Students, or their department or faculty.

A student who is considering the grievance process is invited to first gain familiarity with the Charter of Students’ Rights and the Code of Student Grievance Procedures. The Committee on Student Grievances is responsible for hearing grievances.

Any Party considering the appeal process is invited to first gain familiarity with the Charter of Students’ Rights and the Code of Student Grievance Procedures. The Appeal Committee for Student Discipline and Grievances is responsible for hearing appeals.
