Degree advisors & SOUSA
The Science Office for Undergraduate Student Advising (SOUSA) is the office that houses the Faculty's degree advisors. Degree advisors are experts in University and Faculty regulations and the requirements of the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts & Science degrees. All Science students have an assigned degree advisor.
Speak with SOUSA or your degree advisor if you have questions about:
- Foundation program requirements
- Degree requirements and planning
- University and Faculty regulations
- Study away/exchange
- Final exam issues (e.g. advisors do not grant deferrals, but can provide guidance on the implications of deferring an exam)
- Interfaculty transfers
- Readmission
Advisor assignment for B.Sc. students:
Degree advisors are usually assigned by the 3rd week of June and listed on your unofficial Minerva transcript.
Advisor assignment for B.A. & Sc. students:
All Bachelor of Arts & Science students are automatically assigned to the dedicated advisor, Tania Raggo (on leave) - contact marina.saunders [at] mcgill.ca (Marina Saunders).
Please note: The contacts above are for academic advising inquiries only. If you have questions related to admissions (e.g., application status, requirements, or documents), please contact Service Point at: https://www.mcgill.ca/servicepoint/contact
