The ASPIRE Lab in the SPOTlight

Dana Anaby, PhD, School of Physical & Occupational Therapy (SPOT), will provide an overview of the ASPIRE lab, followed by presentations from two Post Doctoral trainees.

The ASPIRE Lab’s research focuses on meaningful participation and well-being among children, youth, and young adults with physical disabilities. Dana Anaby and team are working towards the goal of improving pediatric rehabilitation services and inclusion for all. The lab is currently working to test ‘real-life’ environment-based interventions that enhance community engagement, such as the PREP – Pathways and Resources for Engagement and Participation.

In this SPOTlight, Professor Anaby will highlight the ongoing research of two of her postdoctoral fellows, Yu-Hsin Hsieh, PT, PhD, and Michal Waisman-Nitzan, OT, PhD.
