The PAR-KT Co-Lab in the SPOTlight

Keiko Shikako, erg., OT, PhD, will showcase the work of two Postdoctoral Fellows from the Participation and Knowledge Translation in Childhood Disability Collaborative (PAR-KT Co-Lab). Their work focuses on improving youth engagement in research and policy.

The PAR-KT Co-Lab (Participation and Knowledge Translation in Childhood Disability Collaborative),  conducts participatory research with children and youth with disabilities and everyone around them: families, community, educators, healthcare providers, and decision-makers.  The Collaborative creates research with communities to inform systems and policy transformation and foster the development of healthy communities where everybody has their Human Rights respected.
