Current research: 

Prof. Saunders is an occupational therapist whose clinical background involved working with individuals with work disability resulting from a musculoskeletal injury.  Her PhD thesis explored the meaning of work for injured workers living with chronic pain, long-term work disability and job loss. Prof. Saunders has also completed the CIHR Work Disability Prevention Strategic Training Program at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto.
