From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

We are delighted to announce that the first talk in the Sustainability Sciences and Technologies Initiative Invited Speaker Series will be given by Pam Matson, Dean of the School of Earth, Energy and Environmental Sciences at Stanford University. Pam is a co-author of the 2016 book “Pursuing Sustainability” (Princeton University Press) and is a leading expert on sustainability sciences.

The talk will take place this Thursday, June 1st, 11 am – 12 pm in the Redpath Auditorium (see attached poster) and Pam will join us for coffee and biscuits before and after her presentation. Everyone is welcome: we hope you will circulate the invitation to your colleagues.
