Request to Exceed Credit Limit in Minerva

For students in the Faculties of Arts or Science (including B.A. & Sc.)

If you are a continuing student whose CGPA is above 3.50, you may take more than 17 credits per term in Fall or Winter, and more than 12 in Summer. This form is to request to exceed 17 (Fall/Winter) or 12 (Summer) credits in a given term. 

Note: If you are registered in the Faculty of Arts and your CGPA is less than 3.50, you are likely ineligible to exceed the maximum credit limit and you may not complete this form. Instead, please submit this form to the Faculty of Arts directly: https://forms.office.com/r/E01fw7NXHU.

Please also note:

1. Submitting this form does not guarantee approval of exceeding credits
2. The programs on your unofficial transcript in Minerva must be accurate
3. Freshman/Foundation Year students (U0) in the Faculty of Science are not eligible to exceed credits
