Final Exam Reread Request

For students in the Faculties of Arts or Science (including B.A.&Sc.)

All other students must apply to their Student Affairs Office.
 

It is strongly recommended, but not required, that students consult with the instructor of the course before requesting a reread of a formal final exam.

  • For more information about the Reread policy, consult the University Calendar.
  • Requests to have term work re-evaluated must be made directly to the course instructor or the departmental chair.
  • A reread fee will be charged to your fee account - consult the Student Accounts website for fee details.
  • No rereads are permitted for computer-scored exams.
     

DEADLINES:

  • Fall term courses:  requests must be submitted no later than March 31st (i.e. 3 months after the end of the term)
  • Winter term courses: requests must be submitted no later than September 30th (i.e. 4 months after the end of the term)
  • Summer term courses: requests must be submitted no later than September 30th (i.e. 2 months after the end of the term)

Note: For graduating students, reread requests will delay graduation until those issues are resolved.
