Regards et Jeux/To Look and to Play

The “Regards et Jeux/To Look and to Play” Project—headed by Professor Shauna Van Praagh (McGill University) and Professor Jean-Frédéric Ménard (Université de Sherbrooke)—encourages research and writing focused on youth and children. Supported by the VOICE initiative, the project provides $1000 stipends to selected students proposing to write term papers or LLM Research Projects or Theses on topics related to children and youth in any area of the law.

Students accepted to be part of the project are asked to write a short reflexive essay (maximum 1000 words) related to the research and writing done for their papers, and to submit an annotated bibliography of youth-related references. In addition, the selected authors will present their work at an annual late summer roundtable event titled “A Space for Research on Children and Law – Espace de recherche sur l’enfance et le droit.”
