Designed with your mental well-being in mind, Virtualy Reality (VR) is an innovative initiative offering an exciting opportunity for our university community to explore the therapeutic benefits of VR technology.

The VR program is a pioneering approach to enhancing mental health and promoting holistic well-being among. It offers a unique and immersive experience that aims to alleviate stress, anxiety, and improve overall mental health.

You can book 40-minute time slots on myInvolvement. A Hub Peer Supporter will set up perameters for an environment and set you up with the equipment. Students then select what virtual experience to try, and space will be provided to engage in the VR experience.

Mindful Escapes: Embark on virtual journeys to serene landscapes, calming forests, ocean depths or mountain adventures. These experiences provide an opportunity to unwind and relax.

Therapeutic Activities: Engage in VR-guided meditation, yoga, and deep breathing exercises. Other experiences include sculpting, painting and more. These activities are designed to help students manage stress, improve focus, and enhance emotional well-being.
