The Fifth International Congress on Whole Person Care

The approach of this Congress was to treat the participants as whole persons. To that end we combined information sessions with experiential learning to provide an opportunity for the participants to immerse themselves fully in the process. Our aim was reflection and transformation. Our theme for this Congress was the elephant in the room, those difficult issues that we know to be challenges to our work until they are acknowledged openly, allowed to breathe. Participants from 6 countries joined us, explored unspoken challenges and built resilience through plenary talks, self-care sessions, workshops, posters, panel discussions, and more.

This program met the accreditation criteria as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and has been accredited by the Office of Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, McGill University for up to 18 Section 1 credits/hours.
