Media Reacts to AI Early Detection of Respiratory Tract Infections Research

On July 30, McGill University and the MUHC put out the story, "Montreal Researchers use AI and Wearable Sensors to Detect Inflammation Before Symptoms Appear", featuring ground-breaking collaborative research by Dennis Jensen, PhD, Dr. Emily McDonald, and Amir Hadid, PhD. The study shows that by analyzing biometric data from wearable technology (i.e. smart rings, watches, and t-shirts), scientists could detect the silent signs of respiratory infection before people begin to feel sick. The story was covered in both English and French media outlets.
